Lares was founded by Lionel Victor. Lionel started his career in Gibraltar in 1983 and worked both on building sites and in consultancy as a Civil and Structural Engineer. Lionel moved to France in 1991 to further his studies and specialize in building engineering management and then stayed in France and worked as Project Manager for Gaz de France. He became Head of the Building and Civil Engineering Department for this company in 1996. Lionel brought his management experience and expertise to Gibraltar and Spain in 2000 after an extensive international career.

Presently Lionel is specialized as project manager, construction & civil engineer in Gibraltar and southern Spain.
